Wholesome Start Home School is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our students and staff. As the School Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive health services, managing medical emergencies, and fostering a healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic healthcare to students and staff, including treating injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications and monitor students with chronic illnesses or special needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students and staff.
• Conduct health screenings and assessments, including vision, hearing, and immunization checks.
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Manage and respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Ensure the school complies with health regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the overall well-being of students.
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment through health and wellness programs.
• Uphold the school's values and standards, promoting a culture of respect and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) certificate.
• Current nursing license and certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of Islamic integrated education is an advantage.
