Wholesome Start Home School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Islamiyyah Head to lead our Islamic studies program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, a commitment to fostering spiritual and moral development, and the ability to inspire and guide students and staff. As the Islamiyyah Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum, instruction, and overall quality of the Islamic studies program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the Islamic studies program, ensuring it aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Islamic studies curriculum that meets the needs of students at various levels.
• Supervise and support Islamic studies teachers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the spiritual, moral, and academic development of students.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the Islamic studies program, making improvements as needed.
• Organize and lead school-wide Islamic events, activities, and assemblies.
• Engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships and support for the Islamic studies program.
• Ensure that the Islamic studies program adheres to Islamic principles and practices.
• Collaborate with school leadership and staff to integrate Islamic values across the curriculum and school activities.
• Uphold the school's values and standards, promoting a culture of respect and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of Islamic teachings, principles, and practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Islamic education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of integrated Islamic education systems is an advantage.
