Wholesome Start Home School is seeking knowledgeable and dedicated Islamiyyah and Arabic-Speaking Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Islamic studies and Arabic language instruction, with a commitment to fostering a deep understanding of Islamic teachings and the Arabic language among students. As Islamiyyah and Arabic-Speaking Teachers, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons that promote spiritual, moral, and linguistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Islamic studies curriculum that aligns with the school's mission and values.
  • Teach Arabic language classes, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of Islamic teachings and Arabic language.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic and spiritual goals.
  • Prepare and administer assessments, exams, and assignments to evaluate student learning.
  • Organize and lead school-wide Islamic events, activities, and assemblies.
  • Foster the spiritual and moral development of students through daily teachings and interactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
  • Uphold the school's values and standards, promoting a culture of respect and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or licensure in Islamic studies or Arabic language education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar educational setting.
  • Fluency in Arabic and strong knowledge of Islamic teachings, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
  • Knowledge of Islamic integrated education systems is an advantage.
